MY BLOGGING EXPERIENCE

Hello class, I`m going to talk about my experience writing a blog. I had to make a blog for the English class of level 3. Before this class, I didn`t have a blog, in fact, I never think to make a blog in my life, because I think that is for people that need to speak for themselves. But now I change my opinion about this, because I have many other reasons to make a blog.

My blogging experience ii has been very good. I think that is a very funny form of evaluation, because the evaluations are always are very, very boring!!!!! But this evaluations are very entertaining.

I think that is a good experience that help me improve my English. Because I practice the redaction in English, the grammar in English and to think in English.

Now, I’m going to talk about advantages and disadvantages of blogging in my English class. The advantage about the evaluations for a blog is that is very funny and makes me to practice English every week and the more important is that help me to make to learn new vocabulary and remember old vocabulary, moreover to practice the passive vocabulary. However, sometimes the topic was too boring and not interesting. Other thing that I like about the blog is that make me know other people with similar interests than me, and it's very funny, and to know other realities, because they are persons with other experience of life.

The disadvantages about the evaluations of the blogs is that it takes too many time, and sometimes the topics were very boring. But the best important critic about the blog is the lack of interaction, because is only text and not real conversation.

Ok class, really nice to meet you. See you the next week, for the evaluation!!! Hahhahha (It`s horrible)

MY FAVORITE VACATIONS

Hello class, today I`m going to talk about my favorite vacations.

My favorite vacations took place in 2008, when I went to the Cordillera de los Andes in VIII Region, Chile. I went to the mountain with my boyfriend and two friends. We went in January for one week, and we had a great time.

We went to the mountain from San Fabian de Alico, a village near the mountain where my boyfriend's grandmother live. This village is in the north of VIII Region, very near to Chillan, but towards the mountain.

We went to camp in the mountains. When we went to the mountain the climate was very strange. In the day was very sunny and this was very nice, but in the night every day we were there it rained. In fact every night there was a storm, including thunder and lightning. But, in conclusion, and despite all the suffering, this was the best experience in my life that I never forget.

The best thing about my travel to the mountain was when I saw a condor, It`s very nice and majestic. It`s our national bird, and the symbol of all Latin American, and the aborigines from all Los Andes too. The condor that I saw was a male, because the colour of his wing was white. Watchind a condor fly in the Cordillera de los Andes is the best and mystical experience in my life.

The photograph shows the Añil Lake, this is a lake very beautiful that have a blue colour very intense, because It has a lot of sulphur minerals. But the water is very cold and the lake is very small. An aspect that I didn`t like was the little vegetation, only shrubs, that were small and very ugly. But that's because I like the big trees.

MY FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPH.

Hello class, today I going to write about my favorite photograph. I love this photograph for the meaning it has for me.My favorite photograph is from my house, but not the structure of my house, but that of landscape near to my house. I live in the country in the south of Chile, in Fresia, near to Puerto Montt.

The picture shows a hill in front of my house. The hill is one of the few that still have native forest, because near of my house, and in all Chile, the forest has been cut down, to sell the wood, starting for plant exotic species, that are more rentable. The hill of the photograph doesn’t belong to the country of my father, but I see it every day. When I get up the first thing I see is the hill, and I love it. In the hill have roble, lingue, radal, canelo, and many more native species.

The photograph it’s been taken from the window of the living-room of my house, and shows the landscape near to my house. The photograph was taken by my boyfriend, when he was in my house for the first time. This was in the summer of 2007, but because in the south rains in the summer too, the photograph is very cloudy, damp and rainy.

My favorite aspect of the photograph is that it shows how it really is the south of Chile, and as I now live in Santiago, I miss so much the atmosphere of the south. I like the vegetation, the rain, the wind, the cloudiness of the south, and in the photograph appears all that characteristics.I think that is my favorite photograph because it shows my house and the place where I was grown.

JJR TOLKIEN

Hello class, today I`m going to talk about my favorite writer: JJR Tolkien (John Ronald Reuel Tolkien) He was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa, on January 3th of 1892 and die in Bournemouth in the United Kingdom, in September of 1973. He was a British writer; he was a poet, philologist and university teacher. He was famous for the publication ok two books: The Hobbits and The Lord of the Rings. But he worked all his life in one book: The Silmarillion, this book is his masterpiece.

In his profession of university teacher, he worked in Oxford University between 1925 and 1945, to dictate the chair: Rawlinson and Bosworth. And between 1945 and 1956 he was professor of Language and English Literature in Merton.

He was the creator of a fantastic and mythical world: Arda, but his most famous book talks about the Middle Earth. In this wonderful world, live many mythological and estrange creatures such as elf, hobbits, dwarfs, dragons, wizards and men.
In his books combine fantasy history with poems and made-up language, so he created a wonderful world of fantasy and his books inspired great movies.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Hello class, today I`m going to talk about the last movie I watch. Today, before English class I went with two friends to Cine Hoyts in La Reina to watch the movie Alice in wonderland. We went today; because this is a big relax before our big test in Anthropology III, with a demanding teacher: Andres Aedo. For this was necessary to clear up the mind.

The film is a fantasy movie inspired on the book of Lewis Carroll: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and through a special looking-glass what Alice found there. The movie coordinate real actors with actors created with computational techniques and stop motion. The director is Tim Burton, he is known for films such as: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman and Big Fish. In the cast are actors such as Johnny Deep (madhatter) Helena Bonham Carter (red queen) or Mia Wasikowska (Alice).

The film is the history of a Londoner girl of 19 years old, which before of licensed at hand for a lord, escape and came down under a tree, and this carry her to wonderland. Once there she finds out that the land is ruled by a cruel and evil queen: Red Queen, and she’s the only one who can help. In the way, she met with surprising and fantastic friends, such as the crazy hatter or the cheerful cat, who helped her to save wonderland. The mission of Alice is to fight with Jabberwocky (a dragon) in the name of the With Queen, the real queen who was exile for her evil sister, the Red Queen.

CELLULAR

I love my cellular, it´s not very modern and technologic, but I like because it alloy’s me is communicate with my family. I´m from Puerto Montt, because this I don´t travelling constantly to my house, the only form for communicate is the phone, and better form is mobile phone (cellular): because this is enabling the communication in any place.

My cellular is very antique. In fact, I use only for speak and send message to my friends and my parents. Because this It´s very special for me. I love my cellular, not for the object or this capacity, but for allow me to be near to love people for me.

My cellular is very special, because is a gift of mother of my boyfriend. Before, I have other cellular, many mere technology and modern, but last year it was fall me in the toilet. For the damp it was die. For this, and because I don´t have money for to buy other cellular, the mom of my boyfriend gift me your old cellular.

The model is a typical Nokia and the company is Movistar, this is the best!!!!!! Because I think that is a greats company: the tariff is very cheap and my friends and parents have Movistar too.

Los Jaivas

Los Jaivas are a group of chilean rock, characteristic for convination of rock with Latin American rhythm and Andean instrument. They are very old, they are more 40 years: The group was make in Viña del Mar in 1963. They are considerate one band influential in the history of music in Chile and take away of South America. Los Jaivas have been characterized by the exploration and fusion of different styles, from the tropical music of their starting point, through improvisation and avant garde style of jazz, classic rock and Latin American fusion.

May bee, the most great masterpiece was the musicalizacion of poems of Pablo Neruda: Alturas de Machu Picchu and covers of Violeta Parra and Victor Jara.

A criticism to Los Jaivas is this anti-politicals stand, quite the opposite of what happened in the time, where groups with Quilapallun, Intiillimani and Victor Jara, had a clear position and political participation. The Jaivas`s musics were call to peace and unions of the chilean society, this is because they were hippies.

Actually of the original band only were two integrants: The original band were Eduardo “Gato” Alquinta, Mario Mutis, Gabriel Parra, Eduardo Parra and Claudio Parra, now only were Claudio Parra and Mario Mutis. Because Gato and Gabriel are dead and Eduardo was retire of the band. But the new formation is composed for the son of the member. Los Jaivas are most that only a musical group, Los Jaivas are to family.
